<p class="Paragraph"><help:switch select="Program" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"><help:case select="WRITER"><help:key-word value="replacing graphics in text documents" tag="kw65636_2"/>Call this command after selecting a graphic object to call the <help:link Id="67613">Format - Graphics</help:link> dialog. Select a replacement graphic object on the <span class="T1">Graphics</span> tab page. The parameters (e.g. borders, hyperlinks) of the selected graphic object remain unchanged.</help:case></help:switch></p>
<p class="Paragraph">Choosing this command (or the <span class="T1">Insert Graphics</span> icon on the <span class="T1">Insert</span> floating toolbar of the main toolbar) opens a dialog which is essentially the same as the <help:link Id="65703" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Open</help:link> dialog.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Here you can select a frame style with which to insert the graphic.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Mark this box to link the graphic image to your document instead of embedding it.</help:help-text> Only a reference to the graphic file will exist in your document.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Check this box if you want to see a preview of the selected graphic file.</help:help-text></p>
